Think the only tool they have against us is Warden dude and it doesn't currently detect HB so should be all gravy. The HB servers have procedures in place to cut access if there are any problems with detection. If you want to be safe just dont hammer it, take it easy. Would it be worth it to create a new account, and once I am finished leveling this alt just transfer him to my main account?

This is exactly what I do. For a minimal cost I know that my main account will be safe. Def worth the extra few bucks. Since I have started botting I have lost a couple of farming/leveling accounts to perm bans and I have too much on my main to loose to simple errors or mistakes or casual Blizz reviews, Some folks will say just bot safe and you will be fine. I have yet to come up with a way to bot 100% safe short of the transfer method.
