Just returned from 2 year break, have a few questions

As the title says, I have just returned from a 2 year break and am a little confused about what has gone on during my absence. I know that a few months ago I considered coming back and started to read up on stuff and it seemed people using HB were hit with a ban wave? I have 5 original honorbuddy keys, and a fair amount of past experience with the service (~3 years). Coming back, what do I need to know? I mainly want to just level from 100-110 on a few toons with HB and thats about it right now. Is it safe enough at the moment to use my old HB to do so, or do I need to purchase this HB3 or something? I care a lot about my account, so safety is the number 1 priority. Also, I can't remember what the ban situation is. If I use HB to level a few toons from 100-110 and I get a ban, is it permanent or do I get a warning first? I guess my plan would be to questbuddy or whatever it was called the whole way. Anyway, please let me know yalls opinions about what I should do.

#1, You cannot use HB2.

#2, HB3 is the same as HB2. Just version 3. It's still HonorBuddy

All keys that work with HB2, work with HB3.

There hasn't been an HB banwave for several months, although there have been some for other bots. With Legion launch Blizzard has been too busy to do a major banwave so far, but some would say that we're getting close to one soon. Personally, I think they're going to be busy for a while yet, with 7.1 coming soon, then holiday season > expected Nighthold not too far after that. But, who knows.

HB3 is the current version of HB, with a nav overhaul and various improvements and the expected number of bugs that are being worked out. It's not a new product or purchase.

As always, if you can't afford to lose your account, don't bot. That being said, questing is probably one of the safer things you can do, compared to gathering, dungeons, or *cringe* BGs. No one gets just a warning or even a 3 day suspension for botting anymore, but you *probably* won't get a full ban on your first offense. Mostly what I've seen is 6mo suspension if you're not doing anything over the top.
