just personal experience with ban hammer

Okay well i currently have 2 accounts, one that was on during the trip wire, and one that wasn't . the one that was on when the trip wire happened got a 6month suspension.. and the other yet has received anything. I just think from POV seeing a majority of the people that got banned were on during the Tripwire.. now do i think it was a ban hammer no.. because most the people targeted were on during the trip wire event. Do i think HB is detected, yes i think it was but HB fixed it again, but we will see, still botting strong on my 2nd account #ain'tscurred #iwillsurvive

But the tripwire happened out of the blue. They could probably do something like it again and get a new batch of accounts to ban. We're never safe

Seems like the solution is to close HB on a tripwire event, not WoW, though it sounds far too logical.

i dont know about the whole the majority of the people getting banned were on during the tripwire if you read the posts its about 50/50 on/not on when tripwire activated but if you read through the ones that have tried to appeal the suspension since no one has posted a perma ban that i have seen all just 6 month suspensions blizzard got them days ago and just now suspended them blizzard has just been compiling a list of people that they suspect of botting or have been reported and the past couple of days started mass suspending them i think blizzard only got a small percent of bots but they are doing a mass deal to try and scare off as many people as possible that do bot or are thinking about botting as it is all over the web and the wow forums with HB listed by name i my self have been botting away on both of my toons farming up tons of leather enjoying the fact that a lot of people are to scared right now to start up HB #lolIain'tscurred

blizzard announces whenever they have maintenance.. so just watch when they plan on fixing issues and dont bot those days.. doesnt help you for ninja patches.. unless you just watch the HB forums before you use HB to see if anyone tripwired .
