I've been watching my bot run my elemental shaman for a while. I am running Questing Bot with Kick's Profile and using TuanHA's Elemental Shaman routine.

I have read all the routine options and even messed with some of the priorities in the .cs file. But I still notice that when I finish combat and I start to healing surge at or below whatever % I set it to, my character just merrily interrupts the cast to continue pulling mobs even at such a percentage. The only time it will remain still to replenish HP is through the food/drink option. I would consider it much faster just to cast a healing surge on myself at this level since mana is not an issue, but while the cast is continually being interrupted after combat I cannot really use that as an option.

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to a condition before my character returns to its questing path to check hp when out of combat and either remain still for a preset amount of time to cast healing surge, or could just intelligently not move until the health is replenished up to a certain %.

Any help/ideas or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

edit:

I can only assume that the bot already has something written in it where it continues questing progress after health is replenished from eating (i.e. food buff disappears, X seconds required to eat pass, health is replenished up to X%). This is why I am asking if someone might know a way to edit one of the files so that I can give healing surge a priority out of combat so that the character stops and behaves the same way it does when eating food before continuing to quest.

Hi, Custxyz,

The behavior you are describing should be implement in the 'rest' behavior of the Combat Routine (CR). If you can't figure out the appropriate settings, try making a post in the appropriate combat routine thread. Alternatively, you could try switching Combat Routines.

There are some subtle things for PvE CRs that PvP CRs sometimes don't implement.
