Hi!
Just lost my main acc I've been botting on frequently since Cataclysm (banned 14th nov). Since I don't plan on playing the game any longer on a competitive level because it's too timeconsuming grinding/gearing and mastering different specs I'll just share my opinions what I really think is going on.
We have to respect that mods/devs and admins will not share too much information on what's going on since there's much likely blizzard scouts reading lot's of posts to gather info. They do a great job updating the bots to fit current patch and we have to trust that they're doing their best..
I'm a very calm and down to earth guy who always try to see both sides of the coin while I read conversations, which is why I'm making this post. My guts tell me that Bossland has some kind of contract with blizzard getting rid of botters who bot frequently because both blizz/bossland know that they'll return on a new acc, and once the new acc gets banned after 6ish months they'll return to their old that got their first 6months suspension. This is a win-win kind of situation for both parts, Blizz will get lot's of money from new bot accounts made, and Bossland will most likely earn a percentage of that by letting warden trigger all accounts every 6months.
I honestly think at this time Blizz and Bossland coop, why would Blizz all of a sudden strengthen their warden when the game subcriptions overall goes down (all time lowest subs for returning players to a new expansion and for sustained players). It wouldn't make sense why they would get rid of such a huge playerbase of botters that haul in money for them. They can't even make the game work properly, take a look at the stupid legendary system, take a look at Pvp scene where endgame Pve gear is the best gear to do arena with. Secondary stats changes going to be implemented before Nighthold which will wipe out classes/specs like Blood DK and Assass rogs - Players warned about mainstats are WAAAY too weak already in Legion Alpha. Look at Fury for example, Str is their weakest stat now, which makes a 840 piece with correct stats (haste prio) better than a 865 piece with wrong stats.. The game is no challenge at all, even a blind monkey would be able to complete these "epic" artifact quests.. There's nothing special to the game anymore.. But there's one exception, I think botting is the funniest part of the game, the thrill when you wake up in the morning and monitoring how much gold you've made over night with all your accounts. That to me is the only fun part about the game.
Sadly this will be the end, Bossland is probably bought up by blizz to some extent in order to make a final push squeezing every last penny there is from the customers.
These are just thoughts based on my own experience, just sharing to see if there's anyone else feeling the same! Cheers and happy botting.
