There is a Plugin for targeting logic that you can get that will stop this from happening

The latest Cimmerian CC requires you to set up what spells to use and such.
You can do that in the settings tab > CC config form (under the mount name,etc)

Oh, and next time; don't edit the original post...i can't really understand what are the issues you're having.
