hey there, i want to share my few cents
i've started play pogo since they released it in EU, after ~2weeks i hit 23-24lvl, after that i started to use emulator (that "blue" one with bad performance)
i conquered gyms in small villages near my location as constant profit, eventually i "traveled" far away to other countries. Still playing safe, with several hours between jumps, I also catched pokemons in central park NY. (lvl25)
I purchased pokefarmer on start of august, 2 days before "unknown6". I got to lvl 28 pretty fast, botting several hours per day. After "resolving" unknown6, i started to do everything i could, i didnt care about getting banned, i knew i wouldnt play this game normally (due to /time/lack of endgame content/lack of features). I used pokesniper sites to collect several 2k+ snorlaxes, had 3k dragonites, i teleported to indonesia, japan, india, usa, eu in 5 minutes, catched every available pokemons, still no ban. I logged on emulator (NY loc.), activated lucky egg, closed, started bot and while bot was catching i used java script to mass evolve everything. Pokefarmer first showed error in exp per hour (only 6digits..) at the end i had like ~500k exp per hour (lvl35).
Around/After 12th of august i finally got hit by banhammer. I leveled up new acc from 1 to 20 in 1 day, collected rewards at once (like 600+ items, still 350 limit), no ban, i played normally 1 or 2 days i think and got ban.
Maybe i return when (if ever) will be bots undetectable. And maybe not
GL to all botters and big bow and respect to buddy staff and to ppl who participated in *****ing, making api and such stuff..
PS1: my settings whole time was max speed (50km/h) and no pauses, just full run with cathcing and looting, transfering except 2 max IVs
PS2: before java script evolving i also evolved pokemon on iphone (with location switched off - no GPS signal message) while pokefarmer was runnign and catching
PS3: and what i was for sure i wouldn play this game normal, i was witness of other emulator users in my city, conquering gyms in few minutes in long 5-10km distance
