Just a combat routine. No bot.

I recently got banned for using honor Buddy, again. This is my second time. I only used it for the combat routine. I didn't like to press so many dam buttons in a certain sequence to become good at dps. I've found something called Gnome sequencer that does that exact same job for me, but using macros. I found it on curse.com. Iv'e been using it now for a week and its doing wonderful. To the people who want a cvombat rotation only, go search up Gnome sequencer and give it a good read through. (nope, I don't work for these people, it was just a good find.)

GSE is good, so is WoWLazyMacro, if you just want a strict rotation. Good for a lot of the static DPS classes and some tanks. Unfortunately, damn near useless for healing

I have been using this for over a week now and was using it between downtime on honorbuddy. I play blood dk so it works great for me, I ha e tanked upto +9 mythics without it without issue

All it does is goes through a macro. It will cast spell 1, then spell 2, spell 3 and so on. It wont cast thing "when needed" so it wont auto interrupt or anything. It worked OK for my BM hunter, but it seemed like it would just skip over things a lot. Like sometimes it wouldn't cast Murder of Crows for half a fight.

First off all... something like this is *horrible*. It doesn't make use of procs, it doesn't make use of cooldowns, it can't use any specials at the right time, it doesn't make use of potions, flasks, food, trinkets.

But more importantly: It's just as illegal as HB is...... Any kind of automation is a bannable offense. And judging from the fact that Blizz has widened it's net now, it's only a matter of time before they start banning this stuff as well.

The Logitech G15 keyboard has "macro buttons" that you can program to do the same stuff you're talking about here. When asked, Blizz said that if they could detect it, it would be a bannable offense.....

Gnome sequencer is not illegal. Its still one action for every button press. All it does is make the built in macro a little better. It doesn't use anything that isn't built into the WOW api. You can even download it at curse. Now if you set up your keyboard or mouse to spam what ever button you set the macro to that might get a little iffy.

Agreed. GnomeSequencer is legal. But mostly because it doesn't do anything that a WoW Macro can't do. In fact; it's not much more than an enhanced interface for WoW macros.

I can see the benefit though. I might even start using it myself No more choosing between casting Lava Burst or Lightning Bolt. One button will cast Lava Burst unless it's not available then it'll cast Lightning bolt. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

Honestly tried using this addon and it's beyond terrible. It's going to be like 30% less dps than what a bot can output. it's seriously awful.

i'd pay 50 bucks to anyone that can make a working macro for an assassination rogue.

I know it's not a perfect solution. Gnome Sequencer is an alternative to getting banned. Over the last few days I have found, on wow lazy macros, several tweaks and rotations that work for me. They are all pretty easy to customize. If you need to fire off a certain ability, there is the option of having a second macro in place. I have to say that pressing two buttons at the right time is still a hell of a lot easier than pressing 5-7 buttons just to get that dps going. I do want to be clear about this. It is not illegal to use, you will not get banned. It simply uses the blizz macro system to it's fullest potential. I know a lot of us honorbuddy users just used HB for a combat routine and not afk farming. This is simply a possible solution for those community members. After reading all over the place, Blizz can now detect these bots, and you will get banned. I lost my account until may of 2018, just because I used it for a combat routine. (yes i knew the risk going in.) My intent is just to help the community here with some information i found useful.

you are going to be 50 bucks richer permanently. There is no way to make a macro do what an assassination rogue needs to do in a raid or pvp environment. I have a macro for my opener because it is static. Outside of that we are stuck pushing the 6 buttons we are required to push to hold nice numbers.
