Im making Skinning profiles so I can finish up leveling Leatherworking, The Rugged leather profile was my first Grinding profile, Ive Tested all of these profiles each for 200+ kills and will only put them on here if they are satisfactory.

Rugged Leather Farm[H]

Mailbox and Vendor in Stonard



Knothide Leather Farm[H]

So far I haven't seen any problems with this one. And its Horde only.



Borean Leather Farm[N]

Works perfectly.
Farms the gorrilas on Sholazar Basin



Medium Leather Farm[H]

It farms directly south of Hunter's Hill in souther barrens, Horde only.
Be prepared for alot of leather lol.

I changed the name since Ill be making more profiles as I need leather for Leatherworking so Ill just put them all in the same thread.

I loaded the profile through the Grind bot and it goes to the area, kills the mobs, and loots them but it does not skin them. Is there a plug in or another feature I need to enable on the GB/HB? I am kind of new to GB/HB.

Click settings and tool under load profile then scroll down to the bottom and tick skin mobs that should do it then click save and close

Do you have Skin mobs checked in the HB settings?

went to run the rugged leather farm and i'm finding it doesnt work so well with my hunter.. i'm using the fpsware hunter custom class, and i'm having to disable pet usage, and when it goes to pull its walking right up to the boars and it comes up "target too close" (all i can do to pull mobs are all ranged spells with this custom class)

I've tried the Knothide Leather Farm[H] Profile.

It wasn't working.

Here a quick fix until it gets updated.
Edit the profile (I use Notepad++) and Change the Lines: 5 & 26. They both say: <MaxLevel>86</MaxLevel>.... change the 86 to 91 and it'll work.


I think it'll be the same with the other profiles if you are using lvl 85+ chars.

Works great so far, however you would farm a lot more leather if it didn't skip over the Ashmane Boars in the Blasted Lands profile. Or maybe it's something wrong on my end. Only targets, kills and skins Redstone Basilisks.

I have it on Grindbot but when I click start, it does nothing at all =( On Grind Bot it seems to be stuck at Loading Profile. If I put it under questing, then it loads, but it gives me an error about my level being too high.

Regarding the H rugged leather profile, I noticed that my character was ignoring the Ashmane Boars, which are actually great sources of rugged leather. Looked at the profile, and the boars’ faction number, 14, was not included in the profile; or maybe that faction number was updated and changed. In any case, I've corrected this and my character does kill the boars now. I also added randomization to the spots to try and avoid Blizzard's exact behavior detection.
