jIRC - test version UPDATED to HB-2 **

First of all to change the setting hit the settings button on the plugins tab edit way and click save
enable the bot and have fun
dont forget to !quit before u close the bot else he willl still be running in the background if u forget alt-ctrl-del and close honorbuddy.exe

Commands
!join -- required to send /msg bot-nick !join other wise he wont join the channel
!info
!level
!zone
!auth - for channel services currently set to Qnets Q bot
!login <username> <password>
Following commands you need to be loged in to use
!whisper <name> <message>
!stored <name that whispered last>
!reply <message>
!guild <message>
!quit

not sure if you got it approved from Enerion but e<Pluginname> is his Trend and people associate Plugins with that pattern as his and ask him if sth is not working.
So you might wanne change the name?

also why not zip it and upload it to the board instead of a external link? or simply upload it directly?

or is it bigger thank 1000kb?

might gonne test it later today

edit: does it identify on irc?
 
put it in plugins folder but nothing happens. isn't visible in HB plugin section.

the naming thing is true... jIRC sounds good, eh?

it's on an external link because it's on the server where i have the svn for it

yes it does identify on irc

and if theres problems with the name sure i'm not bothered what it's called after all it's only a plugin since when does a name matter ?

edit: fixed sorry Ilja Rogoff missed a few things out which cause it to not compile :) no worrys it should compile now

hm so were would i set the irc user password then? your setup Guide doesnt have that step
 
the botlogin is for you to set so you can login via irc into the plugin in order to use the commands....
 
well that depnds which password u was meaning
Line 33 is <--- irc server password
Line 267 is <--- user password

both are listed above
 
well i want my bot to be a registerd user on IRC does he do that? cause i thought line 266 and 267 are for me to set so i can login over irc and use the commands?
 
Hey greate job mate thanks for that. But personal I don't need it because I can not join IRC on my mobile^^

BTW: Please rename your plugin. I associate with e-nameofaplugin the plugins of Enerion.

sorry m8 i already renamed the plugin problem is i donno how to rename the the post tryed searching

A bit of suggestions, I been looking at your code from developer forum and I modified it to my use, I'd like to give some of ideas to the public.

- Allow ONLY bot owner to trigger commands.
- Set nickname to charactername_characterlevel (example: Jay_46)
- OPTIONAL: Allow to msg the bot owner when bot connected to the IRC server.
- Set new nickname to bot CharacterName_CharacterLevel when bot leveled (example: Jay_46 changed to Jay_47)

Each time I click run, that pops up, and it's the only plug in running.

yeah it's safe to just ignore it the problem is the plugin is trying to run faster then HB is running at because of the login and loading of profiles it's trying to send the ping message to the irc server before it's even connected
