Jewelers secret?

Someone let me in on the secret jewelers are using to make money. If your not on my server that is (mod edit). I dont wanna cut into your profit. There is this Jeweler on my server that will buy Elementium from me all day long at 100g per stack, she must be making a profit off that somewhere. I have tried prospecting the elementium myself and with 1 stack you can get 4 prospects, every once in a while you get an inferno ruby with pays for that stack, but more often than not you get get Jasper, Zephyrite or some other gem that sells for an average of 3-10g, 4 of those wouldn't come close to making a profit on a 100g per stack.Am I missing something here?

Here are some of my tips.
1) Farm obsidium.
2) If you have a an alchemist, transmute your jaspers and crap to better gems.
3) If you have an enchanter, you can use your crappy gems to make crappy rings and disenchant.

I've had a ton of success farming obsidium. You won't see as many people farming it and the gem return is pretty good. you even get the good quality gems occasionally. I used to have having those crap gems, until i started making crap rings and disenchanting.

Yeah, the infernos most often pay for the stack itself. But most of the other gems on my realm goes between 40-100g each per cut. So if you sum up all gems from a stack its over 100g. And its not the ZOMG Hyacint macaw !!! that does the big profits. its ALL the small sales.

If you get the prospecting spreadsheet from a certain website (it's also available all over the web, just do a google search) you can either manually input your servers ore prices or download it directly from TUJ and it auto inputs the prices. This will tell you exactly how much each stack of elementium/obisidium/pyrite ore is worth via prospecting. It will also tell you the most profitable way via the shuffle to earn the most profits be it cutting gems, making jc jewelry and de'ing, making scrolls from de mats, transmutes, etc etc etc. there is also a alchemy spreadsheet that is quite useful.
