Leave speculations aside, here are facts:
Pre-WOD you could only get banned by
1) Getting caught by a fellow player and get reported
2) GM activley catches you BOT

Thats it, if you were carefull you could, like thousands have, bot for years on end without any bans (like i did with glider and HB, and not only me, tons of others)

Post-WOD: you can get banned by simply using the bot once, alone, for the fuck of it and your on the next ban wave 100%.
people have reported being banned by simply using Garrisonhelper in WOD just ONE TIME, alone, in their garrison.

Stop being delusional

Huuummm....I wouldn't call it complete nonsense per say. Although I would straighten his comments out some. I would say safety of the bot changed at Legion. Pre-Legion things were more calm banwaves wise. I think we hit the Apex at the Aug 29th patch and now even when there is a release I am betting many are scared to bring their farming accounts back up because we don't trust the patches that they are in fact safe. Then there is the relentless tripwire hits.

What's bugging many of us Tony is your guys lack of communication. I think I can speak for many that the silence in this forum is deafning. You come on the forum how many times in a day? How hard is it to post a simple "Guys we are making some progress but still things to be done. We know you are there but please bare with us". But this time there is no post for days. We went down on Sunday and its now Thursday and not a peep. Only have patience by you. Your silence FESTERS negativity.

Just my opinion and I am sure others share it.

If is so, I can't understand why GMs told me that the only way to ban a bot is by reporting him - otherwise it can't be found!
 
I just know some of my friends lost his account in MOP. but this was just there are you rigth .
with player reports . He has used the bot in Arena and also BG Buddy. But I was farming in mop 24/7 and i never resceived a ban until Feb This Year...

I Personally feel that HB is over unless they do a rewrite. This thing is flagged. Bans are being passed out left and right. No communication from staff about the progress of updates. The bot launches and immediately gets hit. we wait days or weeks and get hit again.

I feel they should either:
Focus efforts away from WoW
completely rewrite and re structure the bot
Sell the code to the highest bidder in secret (I'm sure they know someone who would buy the code) and get out from under Blizzard's radar.

Business 101, if your product is down more than it is up, time to make a change.

maybe but i dont think so :confused:... My Hope is still, that she find away to aviod. I have no problem to creat a new account all six or 8 months.. And I still hope it is true. That the last 6.11 banwave.IT was just a only one addition on the 13.10 banwave.... I was not caught in the 3 hours that the bot worked 6.11:rolleyes:
 
I honestly lost faith in Honorbuddy. After the last big banwave that targeted only Honorbuddy I thought, meh that happens. They updated it and it worked again for a good long time. However since 7.3 they really haven't provided any good support whatsoever.

First they used weeks to provide a build that worked for 7.3, while bad mouthing other bot makers for ignoring the new security update. They said they wanted to make sure it was safe, however right after their release they was hit together with all other bots. Fine, again I thought "meh that happens we had a good run. I'll wait for the update so i can bot for another 6 months". However since then tripwire has gone off immediatly after each new build, and they are silent for weeks without any updates and moderators that, sorry I say this, act arrogantly.

Then a few weeks ago when a new build arrived they said this "Due to nature of the changes, we can not go in to details of what has changed. However, we can definitely say that Honorbuddy is the only safe bot
on the market as of now and we will make sure it stays that way."

Since then I had been banned on 2 seperate occasions on different accounts (newly made so not previously flagged), while i haven't been banned on the one that used FH and my main unbotted account also remains unflagged which shows that Honorbuddy are being target and is less secure than other providers that they talk down upon.

I don't mind Honorbuddy being detected. That stuff happens and we know what we signed up for. But when Honorbuddy makes claims that they are the only secure bot, yet is the only one managed to get users banned after the initial 7.3 banwave, that makes me lose respect and faith for them. I much rather have them being upfront and say that Honorbuddy currently is at a increased risk and they are working on it. But they keep saying its safe only to be taken down again 12 hours after a release. They should really give its a few weeks of internal testing before releasing such statements. And perhaps just a update would be nice, as since last tripwire there isn't any sticked official response.
 
oh yea and now i cant bot at all not even with trip wire turned off says i can find a useable wow process
 
I think the problem for Blizzard lies in the farming and totally automatic quest-botting, for greed and $.
Those of use who'd use a bot to prevent a hernia would be fine I think.

This is o.c. based on absolutely nothing more than a hunch...

How do you know that you aren't caught?
The last banwave showed that they save detected accounts and ban at a later time. You might have endangered your account and will be banned next HB-patch...
