Even when we in EU also agree to Blizz's TOS? We agree that Blizz can monitor system activity of using third party apps. Or does EU regulation overrule this? Anyway, when a ban wave happends, they DO monitor for HB usage, I think.. (Not with revolutionairy detection methods, like most people seem to talk about, just checking if honorbuddy.exe is running or not.. maybe even injected to current WoW session, altough i doubt that since usually all your online accounts get a ban..)

And it's the definition of cat and mouse, the cat obviously has the advantage but the mouse seems to live through it. It used to be no game at all, where HB was impervious, then the cat woke up.

And even if HB has been detected in the past doesn't mean it can't hide again, a few banwaves aren't the end of the world, right now the bot is still immensely useful to all of the intelligent users (IE those who don't use it on main accounts).

I agree with a poster who recently suggested the only real use for the bot is exactly that. Suicide bottling.

But for those that just run it for rotations, well it's not worth attaching to any account for that purpose.
At least not at this stage of the game. I could change my mind when the bot makes it longer than 6 months since the last ban wave.

Because I believe it is absolutely detected.

Now in closing your honor I would make 2 comments.

1. Honorbuddy is an absolute beast for gold making and should be purchased for such purposes by everyone. (Including me). It's that good!! Used wisely mind you.
2. If you care about your account and want it to last, never attach Honorbuddy to it even ONCE.

Please, don't get me wrong. I love HB and it's staff. I think they do a great job, but...
I think Blizz has his eye on them and is going to make is very hard for them to keep the bot "safe"-ish. YES, I KNOW! Botting is never safe, but there is always a certain Risk assessment. Botting isn't safe, but HB imo is in a very high Risk assessment right now.

edit: Forgot to mention: before the last banwave I was a couple of days offline.

Sorry for your loss. I guess if already flagged as botter (bad luck) they tend to check your other accounts. If you have been banned be damn sure to not use CC and use prepaid. make sure ip is changed before make of new account. Also change your macadress. probably other things that can help as well that I am not aware off. You are right it's not 100% safe, was a little wrong of me to give impression of that (can mislead some new menbers in here). But it is pretty much safe yes. Bot careful and be paranoid and the risk is minimal. But don't stay awake for the botting like I did at times in fear of bans. Turn the game of and sleep at night (it is just a freaking game after all, lol :D). Good luck :)

From my personal experience with*other bots* including HB, I have to say I had the most success with HB prior to May of 2015. After that, it's been quite a hassle wondering if/when I was going to lose my next account, so I've been more or less observing since I lost my second account to a 6-month back in late January. As a strictly CR user (though in rated PvP, so I was already on treacherous ground), I figured I might be a bit safer given Blizzard had for a long time, mainly gone after those foolish enough to Mat/Gold farm for 15-24 hour spans.

We ALL learned a valuable lesson last year, and I'm curious to see how many users here lose something just prior to Legion or soon after. You can bet something will happen around then, and it'll most likely target 32-bit and 64-bit competitors as well. I'm doing my best to be mindful of which CRs/settings I use given some of the classes I main, though not even that is going to save me or anyone else if Blizzard decides to (most likely) send another message around the time Legion hits. Time's gonna tell, as it usually does.

I haven't. Once my ban expires I ask to log in and buy time with gold and they let me. Haven't spent a cent on this game for a long time.

Why don't you leave instead? Who do you think you represent for talking in name of this forum? You are the next fanboi on the line, nothing else.

People with your attitude aren't really wanted ANYWHERE. And , by the way, your blindfold support helps no one at Bossland; if anything, it upsets more of the userbase.

guys just a head's up some other well known bots have received a lot of bans lately :) so there may be people making ban reports blaming HB when it was the other bots. HB is still safe thanks to the tripwire :D
