That can't be true because in order to remove a softban it only needs to open and close a pokestop 40 times. This is not the issue.

clandestine is correct that is a softban, it will spin that poke stop 40times or so then it will collect items and he will be good to go from there.

Actually no, he isn't. I let the bot spin it over and over again for 25 minutes, with no sign of any change. I log onto nox or my phone and am not softbanned whatsoever.
