Hi, i'm posting my issue here since i don't know where i should post it :

I'm actualling using Vmware Workstation 9 with a Windows 7 x64 license and i followed most parts of the d3 guide from shaliuno and adapted it for myself. Here are my issues :

1) I do have some random freeze where the Virtual Machine is blocked for ~5 seconds and can be used then. I've already tried to set 2gb ram and 4 cores for the workstation but it doesn't solve anything.
2) I made a shared folder with my wow+hb and i'm actually able to launch WOW but once i start honorbuddy, my WOW instantly disconnects when honorbuddy is trying to get authenticated. I also tried to put the Hbuddy file on the virtual machine itself.

So if someone has any idea about what occures and what did i do wrong, i'm fully aware of your advices :)
Greetings and thanks.

move wow inside the VM
do not use a shared folder
move hb inside the vm
do not use a shared folder

report back

1core + 2GB @ WinXP = enough
run wow windowed 800*600 without details.

trying that tommorrow then cus my client's hdd partition size is too small

make sure the host computer isn't working type two hypervisors will only use what is available at the host. That means if the host device has only 1gb of ram free (or whatever) and you specced two, you are never going to get two in the vm environment. If you can afford it, or have a license you can use, I personally use a type 1 hypervisor, and vm devices with all minimum settings.. seems to work ok for me.
