[ISSUES WITH PROFILE] I can't play more than 15 seconds without dieing no sure y.

I have been trying for two nights now to run this BOT and I have to say so far I am very upset with DemonBuddy. I am a faithful Honorbuddy user, but this feels pretty bad compared to the others. Anyway before I go on a wild tirade like some of these other people I want to determine if it is me or the bot. Right now I can't make it more than 15 seconds without dieing. The bot runs into fire, arcane beams and everything. At this point I would classify it as unuseable, but there are a ton of other people saying they are running it just fine. I have a Demon Hunter as my character.

First--I am using the most popular ACT 3 Profile.

When I am playing solo I have no trouble at all getting through Act 3 on nightmare, but just in case I am too undergeared for the bot here is my characters stats.

I use the generic build. If there is any input or advice someone can give I would be grateful!

The core of arreat is a gold farming profile really. I mean my 60 in gold find gear gets close to dying now and then with more than double your dmg. I'd run an xp profile to 60 then try it again with better gear. Other than that you can try preperation with the 60% life rune and set that to on low health like 35% on bot.

edit: could also use shadow power?

Any good suggestions? There aren't many Act 2 Gold Farming profiles.

Have you adjusted your settings for attack, etc?

Granted you are level 49, and if you aren't killing monsters as efficiently as a 60, that's most likely the case until the bot's further developed and can detect lazers/fire/poison etc.


HOWEVER, mine I currently run at:

Kill radius: 40
Loot radius: 25

You'll have to adjust your abilities and the radius I suppose depending on how you want it to play. I know I'm not going to try to use this toon to level anything, and if anything I'd tone the difficulty down if you absolutely want to get XP no matter what until the bot can be more efficient.

the bot just have been released, it's not perfect. The best advice I can give you is to be over leveled and over geared. Get to 60.

Get to 60, get better DPS. Seriously. The hell are you blaming the bot when you can hardly do the runs yourself?

The absolute best advice I can give is to have the bot use Evasive Fire(with displace rune) and Smoke Screen(with lingering fog) every time a single enemy gets close to you.

Yeal, levle up to 60. Use one of the CCs out there for DHs. Also, look on the AH for a weapon that has a min of 15 Reduced level requirement. You wont get a great weapon by level 60 standards, but you'll get a weapon they will help the bot plow through the mobs you are leveling on.

First, get level 60 weapons with >11 "Reduced Level".

Yeah I was just used to Honorbuddy I guess. I never thought for a second that it was more for grinding and not for leveling right now. My fault. I'm running an ACT 2 profile and its running flawlessly excpet for it wont use my grenades ability over and over to regen hatred which kinda stinks.
