ISBOXER + HONORBUDDY Set up Help

Ok so I recently got ISBOXER set up and installed so I can tile my two accounts on one screen cleanly when dual-boxing my RAF accounts, and currently running a separate HB bot for each account.

- Both WoWs set to Background 12 fps, foreground 20 fps
- Both Bots are fresh installs in separate folders
- Both are running 'Questing' bot
- Both have the same HB settings (attached)
- Both are running Kicks 1-90 Horde Questing
- Both are running the plugins: Anti Drown, AutoEquip2, DrinkPotions, Questhalper - ItemForAura, Refreshment Detection, Talented2, Tidy Bags 3.6 Reloaded
- Both are running the addon "Auto Questing Tools"

Now the problem I'm running into is for a period of time they run in sync, hand in quests, do quests together, etc. but every so often one bot has gotten significantly ahead of the other bot in questing, either a quest ahead or the characters are so spread out and not close enough to receive RAF, So I would have to stop the bot that is ahead and wait for the other to catch up and continue it again.

I'm wondering if there's a better way to do this, or if there's any way to fix them from spreading away from each other and not getting ahead of one another. Is there a different bot base I should be using for the leader, or the follower, or both?

Constructive Replies only please, I do intend on taking information gained for this into creating a useful set-up guide for future users who may want to do this.

Questing just doesn't work in a multi-box bot setup. There's at least 10 different threads that cover this.

If you want fast leveling using RAF, read through the links El Fuego posted. There's threads in the success stories which may give you some additional guidance.

I have been running LazyBoxer solid with 5 bots, each doing dungeons from level 15 on... I am now level 80 in about a day played... It works awesome when you do it right. And the dungeon quests are what reaps the rewards...

I use AWESOME Routines/CC's that do insane work to ensure high dps/tanking/healing.

One is Leaves (Druid) and the other is TuanHa Warrior (4 of them).

I've felt like I've been playing god mode. And it's just getting better and better!!!

I highly recommend all. If you have issues with sync and such with LazyBoxer... Just delete the settings and start over. It WORKS!!!

You use lazy boxer for dungeons? What's the advantage over just using dungeonbuddy?

So from what I can tell just quest 1-15 then worry about multi boxing both and farm dungeons from 15-85? What classes you you suggest can play "themselves" without having to have someone play the leader and the bot play the follower?

I've done the "Holy Trinity" (1-Tank, 1-Heals, 3-DPS) with Dungeonbuddy running the leader as a tank and Dungeonbuddy as the followers. All toons used Singular or TuanHa CR's at various times.

I have also run the same exact group with Dungeonbuddy as the Tank Leader and Lazyboxer as the followers.

LazyBoxer worked well and was smooth while running around dungeons. About the only advantage I noticed to using DungeonBuddy on all toons was the built-in logic for some of the Boss Fights. Moving toons out of the way of AoE damage and such. Lazyboxer just uses follow logic on the tank, and thus suffers boss fight damage. Sometimes the healer couldn't keep up with cloth DPS standing there taking mass damage.

The advantage of Lazyboxer was much better CPU-GPU utilization and smoother following and NPC interrraction capabilities. Especially when doing the dungeon quests. Lazyboxer would always pickup and turn in quests. Dungeonbuddy would often miss quest turn-in on followers because the tank would turn-in and run off to start combat before the followers could turn-in.

SO you monitor the accounts and provide "assistance" when required? Lazy raider or Boxer is the way to go with two. Running quests AFK is hard due to them getting out of sync. The problem with running dungeons only is you look more like a not on inspection,my opinion. Round out the bots with all the skills as you level them. With perhaps some gathering skills as they are the least obtrusive to level and profitable.

Probably all depends on your purpose and game play style. I like to play so I level them by hand on quests and avoid gathering quests. But like I said depends on what your purpose is. If you are into the end game level by dungeons. Even the end game is boring.

On two toon play I like tank and healer.

Agreed. If you are going to only have 2 toons, you need to have a pocket healer. Tank + Healer... DPS w/Pet + Healer. You could go Pally + Druid and probably never die even once on your way to 90.

I run the same setup, but am having problems with being undergeared. What do you do to stay on top of the gear while running 5 bots through DungeonBuddy? I even loot the normal monsters, not just the boss

I only ran into under gearing issues 2 times. Once at level 80 and once at level 85. In each case, I went to the quartermaster and bought gear to keep going. At level 80, go to Mount Hyjal's quartermaster to gear up. At level 85 go to Paw'Don Village to gear up. (Note that I did this on Ally toons.)

Running dungeons you sometimes run into being 40 and still having lev 15 gear in some slots. I imagine if you run them afk with miminal supervision gearing might be a problem but I have had few problems with running dungeons.

Gearing issues? The only time I've ever needed to buy gear was to meet ilvl requirements to get into the next tier of dungeons (ie. level 80 and 85).

If you're running into gear issues, make sure you're doing random dungeons and you're opening the bonus bags at the end of each dungeon. The blues from those alone should really carry you through the entire leveling process, as well as the occasional boss drop and quest rewards.

If you're still having gearing issues, you should re-evaluate the classes/specs you're running with, as well as make sure all the characters are actually doing their job. In most low level dungeons, the tank alone should be able to clear the dungeon. The other people are generally just there to speed things up.

That's exactly what I said. At 80 & 85 I had to buy gear. I should have been more clear that I bought gear to reach the required iLvL for the next dungeon tier, not because I wasn't doing enough damage.

Up until about level 75, my tank was the top DPS in my group. After that the Hunter began to outpace everyone by a decent margin, followed by the mage and then the tank.

I wasn't responding to you, El Fuego. I was responding to Haybale
