is wod the final expansion ?

But why level cap100 does that mean we will be playing a level 105 toon that just sucks
 
Why should it be a problem in other games the max level is 130
 
a level's just an integer :P
depending on bit-depth max level is at least 65,535 (uint16)
 
they said there will be yearly new content or expansion.
 
I mean Everquest 1 is still releasing expansions like 16 years later....they're at over 20 I think lol
 
They devs said in some interview that they already working on second exp from wod so 3 exp already ready almoust . . .

This and blizzard is very scared to lose their largest game and their main source of revenue/income.

Wow will likely get more expansions just because blizz is scared to introduce anything new.
 
i don't think they have long more with this game they are losing alot of people game is just getting boring if i was not botting i won't be playing
 
The game is still awesome, it won't die, wow is lengendary. If tibia is alive...
 
Haa don't worry, expansions will be coming as long as they keep "Farming us" think about it, its a business model that so far has been working great for them and they continue to get us for $$ at every turn. Warforged nightmare for example ..$30 bucks US and it comes with a post you can drop for others to "try it out" suddenly sales increase for them, pets too and all the other things their Store has to offer. I feel 0 guilt botting and having fun doing it.
 
I see a problem with all these expansions. I have been playing strategy and RP type games for about 50 years. WOW has a problem with escalation of power where 5 levels pretty much means you are invincible those 5 levels down. Another problem is the power resides in the gear and not in the toon. But, I guess I am full of it as I dont have a multizillion dollar MMO yet.

Yeah we were poor and that's all we had ta eat. I ask you this, how many play the older content? It just gets pushed to the side. In playing RP the original DnD back in '75, the one thing I learned is Monty Haul type games are boring and get tossed to the side while games with lots of color action and a theme or many themes keep people enthused.

Not many play the older content we bot it :P
They should add some content in the old parts of the game but they'll probably never do that.
