Sorry if this has been talked about. Didnt know what to type in the search function

so say you want to level your character from 2-60 in siege runs. I had a couple problems with gearing
1. didnt have a setup to give my character
2. once I got to NM and Hell I had a hard time keeping my guy alive
3. ended up spending some gold, since I wanted to continue leveling quick and didnt have time to wait for bids to go through

is it possible to have a dual bot setup?

have a fresh lvl 2 and lvl 60 chracter. The level 2 makes the game for siege runs and invites the only person on your buddie list; which is the lvl 60. They run the same path and viola...... your lvl 2 never dies, and essentially never has to be geared

Also it seems like it would be less risky for a banwave, since 2 characters are running in a game. Not just 1 for however many hours

what do you guys think?

Well it all depends on the things you mentioned in the post that mentioned the first part of the post mentioning the first post of the second posting or do you really think that the post mentioning this post is postable here?

That's exactly what I have created and use. It has restrictions that make it a bit weak, which is why I haven't shared it, in that your leader invites the 1st 3 people in its friends' list (based on hashes).

The leader checks every so often to make sure nobody has left, and if they have it recreates the game. This I have done with champ farming in mind, as you really don't want to re-invite a team member when you are a long way into the run, as each member runs its own profile, and therefore will start from the beginning of the run.

It works really well, and I have teams of 3 and 4 running the champ profile.

How it's set up is:
PartyLeader.cs plugin, for the leader
PartyDude.cs plugin, for each team member (not the leader)

Use the same profile for all chars. They need to run exactly the same path, which obviously means they can be separated, but they always catch up with each other.

Open up all DBs. get them to the point where you are ready to hit start, then start off all the Dudes (non leaders), then start the leader.

The leader can be run first, as it attempts the party formation 3 times before it starts the run, but I let the dudes go first, just to be sure they are in game when the invite comes in.

If the dudes are in menus when the invite comes in and the RESUME game is activated, the invite to game is lost, that's for why I have the leader attempt the invite 3 times.

If you would like to try this out, just ask :)

Chill time and telly now, so don't hold your breath for the next 12 hours or so, as I won't be checking this forum again until I wake up in the morning :)

hmmm..... first off, your post is useful how?

Second, I wasnt asking for a profile; I was asking if its possible

Third, I wish you could -rep ppl

Fourth...........................................troll

Fifth, thanks chucky for the response

Each bot runs its own profile as it usually does, from its own profile folder. You could get the chars running together as with the plugin - [Plugin] MyBuddy.Local a.k.a Follow Me, but this plugin at the moment can't create a party or use portal entrances. The guy who created that is working on it, and once done I think it will totally rock.

If you want to solve it for yourself, which I love to do and get a major buzz from, but then again I'm a bit odd, to say the least...

Using key phrases related to search for answers to this problem gave me "Hash" for identifying the invite to party when it pops up. That's what made this plugin possible. Prior to that it was just wishful thinking.

If you take that knowledge, and make good use of .NET Reflector on demonbuddy.exe to see what classes and methods are available for use, you'll have this solved tout de suite :)

even starting with 2 characters total would be awesome. You could level up really quickly

lol, yeah. I've got a Wizard and a Witch Doctor leveling up together. They look really cool on their run.

And I have two DHs as my main gold farmers running together. Only because they have the highest +GF of all my chars.

My champ farming groups are a combination of Barbs and Monks (3 or 4 chars per group). I just noticed today, that the avoidance options in DB actually work really well in open areas, areas where your char can't get stuck, It was very impressive.

when I get some characters setup, im gonna have to hit you up

You have skype?
