just wondering if that is why they printed section 5 in BOLD print. anyways, that clears up the whole debate on whether or not they can scan your memory. and if you can't figure it out, its because you gave them consent.

thanks tony, im just getting down a little on the bans. ive lost 14 accounts since mid november. yeah, some were just goofing around, testing the limits but it seems now they are hitting me for little or nothing. i even had an account banned that had 1 level 1 char on it. i used it as a go-between for other accounts, shifting gold around, not selling on ah, or to chinese. all transactions were under 5k. i had 2 accounts banned in the mid-40s, questing 100 percent monitored. had an account banned that was level 60, using professionbuddy, in durotar, with my professions in the low 20's.

i keep hearing people telling us they can bot for 12hrs straight for months and never get hit, i guess im just in the wrong part of town.

id say its illegal without consent. where consent is freely given by agreeing to the terms. and they never have to admit they scanned, so how would you catch them.

They can scan your Random Access Memory (RAM) and the game will scan any third party programs that can be detected by the game within the game. They cannot scan your running tasks and see Honorbuddy.exe. Let's remember WoW is available in multiple regions, but I believe Americas and Europeans share a similar EULA if not the same, it could be the same for any WoW client. Notice how it states:

IN THE EVENT THE GAME DETECTS A THIRD PARTY PROGRAM.

The game would detect that by changes in offsets among other things, which I believe Honorbuddy does not do. I can't remember if it's injected or attached through memory. I read about it somewhere here as to how Honorbuddy works in a simple way anyone can sort of understand.

This is true, they really don't have to admit that, but I'm sure it could be detected they stepped out of boundaries.
