I can no longer run the 32bit version of the game for some reason and cant figure out why. When i open the launcher the lanch 32bit client option is checked and when i click play it comes up with the 64 bit. When i manually go into the directory and click the wow.exe and not the wow-64.exe it still bring up the br bit version. Any thoughts? cant bot till i get this fixed :(

Try to be nice... try to be nice... sigh.

Rename wow-64.exe to wow-64.exe.old.
 
thanks man by tone of the response seems like a frequent question and an remakr of use the search feature i imagine:/ sry
 
it is a frequent question, but its a good one to start with. unfortunately you stumbled in on patch day, where the trolls run wild. we like to harass the newbs on patch day [myself included]. i got the business on my first patch day, and you will take your turn on next patch day. its a fun game that takes its toll on the mods so always look over the recent threads before asking a question here. if you are having an issue, there is a good bet, many others are too. happy hunting!

Id like to point out one thing. Firtst of all what the OP is trying to say is this "My wow client will not open up in 32 bit will only open up in 64" So why the HELL does that have to do with the bot being patch. And now by the sound of the replies your calling him a "troll" of some sort. or making it look like hes dum. oh I see this everywhere But this time the lame replies were pointless because the OP wasn't even ASKING about the BOT.... Goofs..

They are trying to be funny I guess they didn't correctly read your post. Its not like your saying "oh WoW bot isn't working when I launch the bot it says has selected an instance blah blah" in that case well they still wouldn't have a legit reason to troll since were all humans..

Well actually they were asking about the fact that they're unable to bot until its fixed.

ya I noticed that which is true tho He also wont be able to bot until HB is patch how ever. His question was entirely something else. Basically WoW will not run in 32 bit anyore. Its a good thing hes looking into this NOW so he can get it fixed when HB IS updated. because as far as I am concerned its doing the SAME SHIT for me....

oh no never mind. Launched the wrong WoW exe that I had created months ago. Im using launcher now works fine for me :/

There are quite a few posts regarding the attempt by Blizz to force 64 bit.
However the remedy is quite simple:
Rename wow-64.exe to anything other than itself. (Example: wow-64.exe -> wow-64.exe.old)
Then re-run.

Why the launcher, with its option to override 64 bit and use 32, is no longer even doing that, is an F-up on Blizz's part, or a very blatant attempt to "force" 64-bit.
 
For the future, have a tip:
The title of your post should be something to reflect the contents of the post's main subject, so that people can see whether or not the topic is something they want to bother clicking on.


If you had bothered to look at the past ten most recent posts, you'd see that there are a ton of posts on this 32x vs 64x issue. Your entire post could have been avoided, both in creation and me having wasted my time reading it.

I waste even more time typing this out, in the vain hope that you'll realize your mistake - but more likely than not my hostility will overshadow the actual content and merit of the post itself, and I'll be ignored.
