Is there no reliable way to bot Battlegrounds with Honorbuddy in Legion yet?

You just answered your own question, bot bases aren't up to scratch. Looks like you have to wait

Just go down to the Ban section and start looking at those and you'll see 1 of 3 things.
1. "lost 10/10 accounts" ... suicide botter
2. "temp ban - 6 months, starlight rose farm" ... used public profile to get banned
3. "bg farm - 6 months" ... used any form of bg bot.
People know what honorbuddy looks like now when moving around. When you are playing against people who are first off, looking for any excuse as to why they lost, they will report you for botting. Then enough people do that, you will get banned. People know the paths bots take and sometimes can be predictable.

I've been using public profiles for almost 2 years now and have only lost one account (which was entirely my fault).
I wouldn't use Battlegrounds on an account I care about, it's just an alt.
Lastly, I'm planning on monitoring it on my second monitor while I play League, so if anyone calls me out, it'll be fine.
These people that get banned, they do it stupidly. 24/7, no breaks, trading large amount of gold, letting their bot run into a wall in a battleground. They deserve to get banned because they are irresponsibly stupid.
Even "responsible" botters get hit. BG's seemed to get hot due to very likely chance of player reports + Blizzard actually started taking action due to them.
I wish BG botting would come back since the pvp talent grind for alts sucks, but even with BGFarmer (couldn't pay me to use base bgbuddy or whatever) I think it's just too high risk.

None of the BG bots, even paid ones are secured. They always result in bans as people see multiple bots running the same paths, low damage/healing done. Reports are highly likely and obvious. I've had accounts banned with BGfarmer, although to Millz credit it's the best one available.
I lost my account due to errors in bgbuddy only ran it for about 2 hours found my toon spamming alone and I got reported then banned. I don't think anyone has a "reliable" BGFarmer atm... and would not trust using anything until someone has one tried and tested well.
Although I was just using the 5 day trial thing or what not for bgbuddy... no clue if there is a diff from that and the paid version... but yah... Got banned within 2 hours of running it... Be wary of using anything to bot bg's period! Just my personal advice at this point.
