I lost my job due to an car accident + back pain. There is no way ill be able to get a job soon. Was wondering if there was good $ to be made still selling gold.

If I was you, I wouldn't bother tbh. Unless you live in a developing country with low wages.

I'm making around 5-7k per hour per bot in WoD.
It might be profitable now for 1-2 weeks now, but when everything goes back to normal its just not worth it.

Plus botting for a living is a lot more stressful than it sounds.

I been doing it for years with Runescape until i started being perma ban on all accounts even with VPN . My luck is over with RS. I tried a few different game without success.

I thought WoW could be good but i ll take your words as you seems to know what your talking bout.

If you can sit in a chair and run bots and sell gold then you can work. Maybe not physical labor, but many office jobs offer the same environment as botting. Don't lose momentum and give up due to an injury. Stay focused and busy or you'll get depressed from beating yourself up about what you can't do anymore. Best wishes with your healing mate.

Did it for 18 months when I received a L2 compression fracture I got when my partner slipped while we were carrying a 255lb patient down a flight of stair where both of them landed on me. Doctor told me to forget about going back to my job as a firefighter/paramedic. I spent 12 days at rehab and was back at work on day 14 when my boss got the paperwork approved to moved me to a dispatch position where I did four ten hour days a week in a chair at a desk while I got myself back into shape to pass a physical evaluation to go back on the trucks. Sure it wasn't a pain free experience, but life isn't meant to be easy. I could have stayed at home and received my entire salary while I was out injured, but I'm not built that way.

May I ask how you are making 5-7k per hour??


and yes botting for a living is stressful, I did it when I was younger because it was better than minimum wage, but the feeling you get when you get on your computer to find your 10+ accounts all banned is horrible. I am planning to start botting 5 accounts for this expansion to make some extra money, but I could also end up losing money. Don't sit on too much gold because you could get banned anytime.

Depending on how many accounts you have, which profile you MAKE (not download) and what specifically you're doing you can make a living yes. How comfortable will depend on how much time and effort you put in to it. My peak, if you will, botting for a living, I had around 35 accounts, running on 7 computers, each with their own VPN, and was easily pulling 5-6k a month with minimal effort (that was average, I did better after a patch was released by a lot, but this number is just to give you an idea), other than having the hardware and internet connection. Am I doing that now? No, half of them eventually got banned, but I was able to maintain the 35 number for quite a few months before I lost interest. Once WoD kicks in the 1st or 2nd major patch I'll probably resume it

If you don't know everything there is to know about trading the stock market and especially options, now would be the perfect time. Especially since its insanely more profitable and always will be. Other than that you'll probably be waiting until eve rquest next like the rest of us. Going to be a lot of people gunning to sell in that game.

WoW is all about being able to sell the gold straight to the players, if you are farming to sell to the chinese you won't have any profit, just forget about the chinese if you want to make a good profit .

Price is 0.5$ and chinese sell for 0.7$ where is your head?

And to answer your question gathering already isn't really profitable after 2 days, garrisons profit will go down and down so maybe 5% compared to what people made during the last expansion.
