Hi, Furyz0r,

Warcraft uses data in the realmlist.wtf file to determine which server pool to connect. The realmlist.wtf it uses is based on the locale you have set for your operating system.

I don't know of an easy way to set the locale, launch the WoWclient, then reset the locale, and launch a second WoWclient. Attempting to do so, may cause heartburn in your already running WoWclients.

This topic is waaaay off the scope of Honerbuddy discussion, and you would fare better asking such a questoin on a site like OwnedCore.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to do this? Disk space is almost free, nowadays.

There was a thread somewhere that had an application that would clone the WoW folder without using any space and it would create 2 WoW's, one for EU and another for US.
I don't have a HDD with that much space, so that's why I want to do it, and because I want to start botting in the US.

You probably could reconstruct the work that app was doing. What you are describing is Windoze 'hard links' and 'directory junctions'. They are done using the mklink command (inside a DOS prompt). The challenging part would be figuring out which files/directories to hard link, and which had to be instanced in your second copy.

More work/research that I'd want to do, but if your desperate, I guess its a solution.

That's because it isn't called realmlist.wtf anymore.

Go onto your WoW folder and at the top, search for config

Edit it and you should see

SET locale "enUS"
SET installLocale "enUS"

Change the US part to GB when you want to use EU version, or to change back US, etc and then save.
