Is there a way to reduce the scanning range of the bot or turn it off altogether?

I'm just curious because I've encountered a problem due to the scanning range of the bot... It's detecting a chest that's 76 meters away and takes 13 hops to reach. So, it says "That's too far!" and doesn't move. Also, since the bot is designed to attack everything it detects, I'm wasting alot of time on trash mobs...

So, like I stated in the subject, is there a way to turn scanning off or at least reduce its range?

Okay, I found the PullRange and PullDistance in the settings *.xml's. So, could somebody tell me where/how those are used and if there's a command I can put in a profile to alter their values at will?
