Burden of Eternity can upgrade one of the token you have to a iLeve 535 gear piece. Note that you have to use this item on a token, not on a piece of gear.
How can you get those items
Those items can drop from any mob on the Isle. Depending of the quality of the mob (normal, elite, rare, rare elite) the drop chance will increase. The spawn rate of rare and rare elite mobs is pretty high but you have to know where to find them, right

No offense, but i think he is looking for a timeless isle profile that farms the initial quests and dailys after and will farm coins and burdens for him. I dont think he was looking for an explanation on what burdens are and who drops them

You dont have to actually farm the burdens of eternity when you have a good working coins farming profile. You can use the coins to buy keys from the monkey in the cave. The keys can be used to open lockers. The lockers contain burdens in a low droprate, aswell as geartokens.

Brodie's plugin does pretty much everything you can think of. And it has Timeless Isle stuff, such as chest finding, grinding for coins and rep.
I definitely recommend it.

Yeah, I use Brodiemann's and it works fantastic. If you just load the Timeless Coins Grind it will loot all the chests first then start the grind. My only complaint is that it doesn't go after rare spawns which drop significantly more coins.
As for the Burden of Eternity, not many people seem to know but there is a blazing chest that guaranteed drops Burden of Eternity.

The easiest way is to buy this for 1000 Timeless Coins:
From the child pandaren vendor Ku-Mo:
Just buy that and swim to the closest shore, then swim out of timeless isle (you'll start getting fatigue when you're out), mount a flying mount and fly up above the area (staying out of timeless isle), then fly in and once you get dismounted quickly use the glider and glide to a corner where there aren't mobs. There will be two things guarding it and they will kill you pretty quick, so just focus on looting the chest. Also, land on the left side where the chest is. You can't get across from the right side and if you land in the right side you'll be teleported to the celestial courts.
If you really don't want to buy the glider, you can also attack a seagull which is flying around the isle. (easiest to hit at west end of Celestial Court). If you attack it once the bird will pick you up and carry you, and once you're where you want to be kill it (it will stop moving). This is also how you get the two chests on top of mountains. It's a fairly lengthy journey though.

+1 on this. Works great.
Or just kill the blue crabs until they drop the scutter shell. Use the buff - and you are pretty much immune to agro for one hour. Just ride to the top - and jump over the bridge with the glider.
