Is there a reason I'm catching all of the same lame gen 2 pokemon?

So I was curious, when I had pokebot when it first came out I was catching all sorts of different Pokemon in New York, Central Park to be exact. Now, I don't even see any of the gen 1 pokemon anymore, nor am I running into anything exciting. All I run into is the same gen 2 crap and I guess some ratata's and pidgeys.

Is this because I got the "warning saying they detected something etc. etc."? Are gen 1 pokemon just way less common now? I really don't care for any of these gen 2 pokes, and I haven't got anything exciting and I'm lvl 25.

Anyone know of a certain place to catch gen 1 pokes? Or a good spot to level up as fast as possible? Sorry for two questions in one.

This sounds like a shadowban. Correct me if i'm wrong but you're not able to see better pokemons because you've exceeded a certain niantic/Pgo limit. I'd suggest you stop botting for a week. That will clear the warning.

What is a Shadowban? Is it a new thing? Didnt heard of it all until now.

Okay, do you guys know what the limit might be? Per week/day etc. How can I avoid getting one of these in the future? Bot once every other day? no more than 5-8 hours? Something along those lines?

I mean really...if you're just botting for XP...why does it matter if it's a pidgey or a sentret? You want rares? Don't bot.

I think we can all agree that if you care about your account long term right now, wait to bot after they figure out the shadowban. You know niantic is swimming in bot data right now...won't be long and I'm sure we will have a new way around it.
