Is the bot detected or can i use it casually?

I understand that teleporting / sniping and changing your location and getting exp super fast might get you banned. But what about using it in your hometown with just running speed? Can they detect the login from PC or should this be a safe way to use the bot on your main account? I understand nothing is 100% safe but I wanna know if they can detect the bot login source or if they only ban teleport and hardcore botting.

Previous build was detected. Not sure about the new build. Apparently it has some new security fixes. I would not use it for at least another day or two.

I think I have some sort of soft ban now. I've been botting all night. and just now all the pokemon flee, but I can still loot pokestops.
So it's not completely undetectable. I think I've got this softban for capturing over 1000 pokemon in a "short" time. Now I'm trying a new account in my home town to see how that goes.

If the 1000 Pokemon / 2000 PokStop is actually a thing it's not that PokeFarmer got detected. It's because you exceeded the limit by the server.

When did you started botting? Only used pokefarmer?

Well, I'd call them detecting the bot doing things while popups are active and unclicked "software detection". Unless we actively monitor the bot and immediately stop it once levelling up, it will do things while the popup message is up. And we can't even know when we get a medal that we should click on.

Can we get a moderator response in regards to the lack of pop-up removal? Is it a problem or are we trying to fix it? Also, do you have any way of testing the experience/looting limits resulting in bans?
