Is Sniping still a thing?

Hey fellow Boters!

So, since Pokemon Go came out I waited for the first ones who where able to build a bot.
I found NecroBot, and the idea was awesome. Then NecroBot splitted but I was still here.
There was something like Sniping Pokemon (Coords of pokemon wich are posted in forums or in a discord channel and the bot teleported there and catched it)
Is this still a thing? Because I had (yes, had, got banned lol) all country specific pokemon. That was quite cool.

Sniping is still a thing, however I wouldn't advise it, and neither would the creators of PokeFarmer, who intend to create the safest bot.
