Is questing still safe?

Most of the questing will be fine, just keep an eye on behavior and CR during the questing. Add in a monitor plugin to alert you if you you feel if it will help. Add two.
Kicks profiles, for instance get a couple of sync issues between quest states, (due to things like, mobs being dynamic, and being alive /dead when you get there) stopping and starting will fix the issue. If its still a problem, find the log, rename/view it and upload the log to kicks thread, complete a few quests manually and start/resume.
Only a handful of quests have timers and NPC follow requirements, so you can use gathering / battle pet like plugins to create path detours to alter your movement and density of movement around quest locations and arranged navigation nodes. Expect quests to break if you do use plugins that can navigate by themselves, but work around the issue and take over manually to complete quests if they do break the profiles.
Or just run the profile as is. Should work just fine. Take a few short-run detours along the way, pvp, gathering, fishing, archaeology, etc in the same session.

My main account got banned just using questing. Got caught in Northrend, although this may have just been me getting extremely unlucky. Ended up talking to a customer support supervisor, and they said I was banned directly by a game master who was watching me in game, not an automated system.
He would have teleported you ^^
