From what I've gathered for the game to be moderately profitable you need to have programming experience--everything I've seen from discord suggests that the "top" botters modify multiple aspects of the bot to increase its efficiency.

Either that or beat it with volume. Run 20 inefficient characters instead of 10 efficient ones. This requires extra hardware and more bot keys and as such is much harder to sustain and the headache of doing so will probably cause you to quit.
