Is JC and Enchanting still profitable?

I wanted to see how much it made and how much you could sell within encountering DR, really I am just doing research into it all whilst levelling a gatherer on another account, my enchanter is not maxed yet and it was much easier to ask a friend just to disenchant them all instead of listing enchants he may or may not have. I will start looking into what enchants I should focus on within the next week and hopefully have some idea of my daily income within the next two.

Currently I'm just prospecting/milling all my ores and herbs, sellings the gems raw and using the inks to make shoulder enchants to sell.

Do you think doing this is a good idea or is their a more profitable way to do things?

Now I have only been doing this for about 2 weeks and above is not even taking into account that you should look at your market prices and see if it is worth upgrading your enchanting materials and the even more important idea that a lot of your enchanting materials should go onto scrolls which will increase their worth even more. I am sure there are a few more ways to improve the way I am doing it, but using the above and not including enchants on scrolls or anything to do with herbs or primal diamonds you should easily be able to make 5000g a day with a 16 hour gathering profile at around 170nph. Once you start optimising it and adding enchants onto scrolls and selling some rare proc's on your rings and necks, I would say that 8000g with one gatherer a day, just using Enchanting and Jewelcrafting is easily possible. Hope I helped!

5000g with 16 hours of botting is not that much.
