Is it worth dropping Alch/Inscription on my druid so i can bot herbs

Kind of a silly question but is it worth dropping inscription/alchemy on my druid for herb/mining just so i can collect herbs while in flight form? Does it make that big of a difference? I just transfered my paladin over so i can learn inscription/alch on him but i don't know if it's worth my time or gold.

Answer a couple of simple questions and I'll be able to tell you:

How much gold per day, on average, do you currently make with inscription+alchemy?

Is that paladin level 90 and is it the only other 90 you have(either on that account or another account)?

I wouldn't GB2 on an account that I'd like to keep for more than a month or two.
