Is it worth creating a new guild?

I came back to WoW after I year for the 10 day cata free trial and botting and I might continue to buy WoW, but coming back from a year ago, a lot o fhtings have changed and to be honest, WoW seems too easy now.

One of the things I noticed quickly when I was in a guild, money gets donated towards the guild bank for every mob you loot for money, and I went to the guild bank to have a nosey and there was about 100k in there, not all of it is those donations obviously, but still it must of had some contribution from 995 members and people playing all the time.

So is it worth creating a new guild or do you not actually get a lot from this above?
 
No..

Quite the opposite actually - I believe they brought back a small sense of hope with the difficulty in heroics. The only thing they made easier is leveling and being completely carried and getting easy items.
 
Ya the normal day to day tedious stuff is easier.. but the 5 mans and up all have gotten harder as they have tiered it so that you don't get maxed gear fast and pretty much have to jump thru some hoops (a few are even on fire) to level up. Plus there are new raids/runs coming in the next 2 content patches which will be even better.

If you have the ability.. ALWAYS create an off GV for your own storage. But as for the gold dontations and such.. its how the GM dictactes the funds use. But as you level in the guild you have new BoA gear (soon to become Battle.net Bound so will be able to mail across realms) and also other bonus' such as exp/honor boosts, speed boosts and mounts. Alot of the things are BoA (scorpion mount for one) so you only need one toon to get the good rep in that high level guild to benefit :)
 
as for the guilds when you make a new guild itll start out at level 1 and you get no perks. the guild your in is like level 13 or something because you dont get the donation thing (where like 10% of gold looted goes to guild bank) untill some higher level like that. its a bitch to level up a guild so if i were u and starting a new guild get the guildinviter plugin for HB and get hundreds of people in your guild so that when they quest your guild gets XP and you can do guild 5man runs and get xp there too.

If you read the forums, and other WoW sites, including the 4.1 Patch notes you'll know all about it. I will not repeat what I've stated on this forum a few times prior and is EASILY available to anyone who just opens a site or two.
 
i know how to google and i get annoyed at people who don't, I meant discuss and I have searched online before just didn't know this was possible
