Is it worth appealing or starting over ?

Hey guys,
Like a large portion of the forums I was hit last night with a 6 month ban.
I wanted to ask is there any chance blizzard will accept an appeal for shortening the suspension in a couple of weeks/months or if its not worth the trouble and should just start over again from scratch.
I already have another account ( with absolutely nothing on it ) that somehow has WoD already on it ( sadly w/o the 90 boost ).
Would it be worth upgrading to Legion on it and buying gametime or hoping blizzard will accept the appeal in a couple of months ?

If this is like all past banwawe's, you will not get the ban owerturned in any case. Legion pre purchase can be moved to another WoW license.

Just spoke with blizzard , they are saying its not possible to move the upgrade to another account ;(

Thats not at all true. I've had bans overturned, there are tricks to it. It's not a science, its always a dice roll, but some things do work sometimes. More often than you'd think. For me its been like 1 in 3. I haven't had any of the detection wave bans be overturned though yet.

Way to be pedantic. We're talking about detection bans, so your anecdote is worthless. No shit you could get some sap on the other end to overturn a discretion ban.

Why so hostile?

I was replying to a single post containing a blanket statement which was false. He did not make any limitations. I agree with you re detection bans, but there is no reason for your attitude. I'm a nice guy :P
 
It's absolutely possible, key word is possible here... it takes a very special kind of GM (one that actually reads your appeal), and the right worded appeal.

Don't give your hopes up, not at all.
 
I dont think anyone can proove they got ban from wave's lifted. Last time I talked with a GM he/she told me they can not lift these ban's. The only one that can do that is the hack / chea**t division.
