I have a serious question for you guys and I want some feedback! Is it strange that I don't know how to play a ret pally and everytime I dungeon or arena I use combat bot because I do more dps with that and do more damage? I noticed that everything I do that has too kill something I toggle Combat bot, some may see it as lazy but I think I'm not pro enough with my pally lol. any suggestions what I should do :o
 
Read guides and learn how to play without HB if you want so, else, go on with combat bot.
 
Probably as stupid as me being able to program a custom class but I don't know how to play half my characters without hb.

But who cares, my dps is so high that nobody notices anything
 
Not stupid. Even though I can play a couple of the classes well, I wouldn't be able to enjoy them all without HB. I can heal pretty well with paladin and priest, but it isn't humanly possible for me to make all of the checks as fast and as flawlessly as a well written cc can.

Delegating tasks to the bot allows you to focus more on the fight and contribute more to your raid group. If you are a healer on a low population realm, some raid groups wouldn't even get to raid if it weren't for you. So if you are filling a raid/group role beyond expectations, you are helping everyone else.
 
For Ret, you can get the CLC addon which will tell you what spell you should be using for the best dps. It doesn't work so well in PVP though. :D
 
i know how to play my classes but using HB or PQR makes life a lot easier since i had a baby 4 months ago so now i can raid 1 handed haha
 
when designing Amplify, i watched tons of mage pvp videos, it was a good way to learn whats going on and what it should be doing without having to actualy read boring and outdated rotation information.

Not really, for example if you're very tired for example and miss some key abilities in your rotation that would seriously affect your DPS. HB on the other hand doesn't forget that.

The problem with this is that it doesnt come with the optimized rotation and it also depends if you have 2p t13 or 4p t13 or none at all.

Watched that match live, allmost came in my pants, Orangemarmalade is the best mage in the world for sure imo
 
I had problems trying to find the best DPS rotation for my warrior also, it was a newly leveled char and I had no ideea on how to optimize gear and how to set up my rotation to get the best dps possible.
So I searched for a guide. Found a couple, but the best by FAR are the guides from Always free premium World of Warcraft guides for every dungeon and mode - Manaflask
It has the best guides I've seen for all classes available in wow. Every class is explained, what skills to use to maximize dps for all speccs, also best healing and tanking rotations and itemization for gear.
 
Wouldnt it be bad if you got really far in arenas using lazyraider, then you can to go to one of these tournaments and play in front of everyone live? :p
 
well if i ever find a CC wich does more Healing and DPS then i do myself, i'll use it. But at the moment, most CC i used so far indeed do a decent amount of DPS/HEAL for doing nothing, but dont even come close to what a - accomplished / practised? (i guess that was the word...) player can do on its own.

but back to topic...no, its not stupid, its just lazy i would said. but thats what hb is for~

What I thinks stupid is when half the time a Ret Paladin is beatin by a Tankadin on trash.
