Hello

I was recently banned for 72 hours, I left my bot levelling in the 85-89 BG bracket and I was slapped with a 72 hour suspension.

I am now going to stay away from botting in BGs, specially over night, but I was wondering if botting over night questing or herbing/mining is safer? I used to leave my bot fishing over night a LOT and nothing ever happened and then BGs , slapped with ban straight away.

Can any one offer some advice as I'm quite afraid to bot on my main account now?

This is in EU servers by the way

I can't advise overnight botting. From what I've heard on my server (high pop US), botting gets worse overnight. Seems like everyoen thinks it'll be a great idea because less people are playing in the middle of the night. So when you have 13 bots and 2 humans in AB or something, it's so easily noticeable, especially when no one is talking.

Yeah BG botting over night is just a bad idea since its too obivous since not enough "human" players are there.
Botting for herbs and ores is in general a lot safer but you might not get as much out of it if you are on a high pop server with a lot of bots.
I am on a medium pop server and iam usually alone at night or I have 1 other bot running around. What also helbs there is to use a multi area farm profile that flies all over pandaria. That reduces the chance of people seeing you too often.
Otherwise so far I have it found it very safe to bot over night. However I do not bot 24/7 but I usually let my bot rest for at least 8 hours so it looks a little bit more like a real player :D
Also I switch up what I let my bot do, grind certain mats, farm herbs / ore, level a toon etc.
