Ive read a few times that it's bad to bot at night because thats what blizzard is looking for. I'm trying to come up with a bot schedual to run 24/7 where out of my two gathering profiles atleast one is running at all times. So what do you guys think?

Well botting at night is more suspicious than during the day. Just think of a Blizzard employee looking at your account and seeing mostly playing at night, checks your IP and sees your time zone and its night there as well.
If one account only does nights and doesn't come at all during the day you could get away with being someone who works night shifts and plays wow.

Just make sure to have breaks, don't run them too hard etc.

Thanks i was thinking of having each going for like 6-8 hours at a time with breaks in the middle. would it be best just to avoid the like 3-6AM block of time and make the bots run different profiles? im gonna have them each switching profiles a bit so that they arent seen in one spot too much

what i do i bot from the morning til a night then let it rest a few hours then bot from the morning til night again i wont tell u my bot times but thats how i do it i dont let it bot overnight.

Bollocks man i work nights so when im off work im up at night pretty sure that will have nothing to do with. Its obvious shit like been reported flying round a node for 20 mins/selling gold to china ip and 24/7 play.

that's kinda how i felt about it i just wanted to ask and see what people though because i have seen many people say it's bad. Is it bad to run most of the day and take three three hour breaks?

i wake up around 10am, start 3 bots. 1pm ill empty my bags, post auctions, mail my cod's and sit in org for an hour or so shutting them off at 2pm when i start my second set of 3 bots and let them run till about 7pm. at 7 i come back to org tidying up my bags, auctions and cod's. i leave those 3 running while i start my first set of bots to farming again. around 10pm ill start all my bots running till about 2am. ill do all my trades during this period. grind herbs on my scribe, sit in org for abit, move money around, sell gold every other day or so. i dont like to keep more than 30k on any one toon.

every other day ill switch the order, or what 3 bots i run together. but no running between 2am and 10am. no reason other than i cant watch them while i sleep.

In my opinion, it's definately more suspicious with night gatherers, if someone sees you gathering a few nights in a row, they'll most likely be suspicious about it. And most likely, Blizzard watches night gatherers more. Less players, more bots.

I dont like running during the day for the simple fact theres alot more people in the zones and every 1 knows what bots look like if u are gonna run during the day on a drood i would set ur black listing to 12 seconds so u aint doing bot like spins and shizz.
