Is it possible to scan larger chunks of the map and target specific rares?

Since you've been adding time delays anyway to simulate real person behavior, how about using that time to do a longer range scan of Pokemon?
If a Pokemon from rare list or over certain IV appears, and there is enough time before despawn, have the Trainer walk there ASAP and catch it...
It would seem to throw in an additional randomness into the walking pattern, plus more rare Pokemon :)
Its a Win-Win!

How about that?!
Pleeeeease :)

Thank you for your insightful reply... Seriously though, Pokefarmer with minimum additional programming can even locate and map Nests, plus like I said above can track Rare or user-specified Pokemons lets say in 200m or even higher radius. This would be SUPER AWESOME!

I'm sure if you provided some of the minimal code to get them going the devs would appreciate it. /s
Not sure if thats snark/sarcasm or you just trying to dazzle with wit...
At an earlier point in one of the revs of this program, such functionality already existed - I remember earlier rev that showed clusters of critters by area with MUCH larger areas - for example about quarter of San Francisco when zoomed out showed color coded by density clusters of pokemon... The only thing at that time it did not path the character towards the Pokemon. Hence my assertion that since they already had this functionality partially implemented, changing pathing from running to a map feature like pokestop or gym to a particular filtered pokemon is indeed minimal. The folks who coded this are more than capable of the addition that I suggested.

Sorry I didn't read your wall of text, your answer lies in the /s at the end of what I said. Calm down m8, it's gonna be alright.
