Hello,

imagine your quest is to kill 12 spiders. The quest is done and you toon move to 2nd quest and so on. During this quest it passes the area where the spiders are and starts to kill them again going slow towards the area of the next quest.

If I do the quests my own I would ignore the mobs I dont need because with my mount I will escape most.

I know there is <AvoidMobs>. But I have 2 Problems:

1. I dont want avoid this mob as long as the spiderquest is active
2. When I do for example the shark quest - I dont want to put all the mobs in TB in avoid. There are tons.

So is there a way saying - OK I have done the spiderquest from now on ignore shooting on spiders or/and I am doing the shark quest now so ignore all others except Tank the Shark?

thanx a lot for your help,
cheers,

Well it 'should' go and kill 12 spiders and once that objective is complete it goes and returns it, I havnt noticed it doing what you said just the opposite actually

What I mean is that the bot kills nearly the whole zone before reaching a hotspot for a quest. But maybe I should disable the option "kill between hospots" I just noticed that this is always on per default.
Dont know it it helps. Try when I am at home again.
cheers,

For questing, "Kill between Hotspots" should be off, indeed.

But, there is also another mechanic you may be encountering which is explained a little further in this post.

set pull distance 0 (behavior) while on quest, 25 after your objective

If you do this, please use the [wiki]Honorbuddy Custom Behavior: UserSettings[/wiki]--it handles Bot stopping and a lot of other boundary conditions like that.

Hello Chinajade,
if I follow the link you want to tell - works like designed?

Hi Kick,

can I set this pull distance 0 generally and then change it back or do I really need to make a CB file?
thanx a lot,
cheers,
