hey guys so I have been reading alot lately in regards to how niantic is able to ban botters. I also read about who owns the majority of shares and it seems like google is the boss in this field.
Since all bots are using gps based off google maps isnt it possible if lets say I login to pokerfarmer and put my coordinates on the bot it actually uses google maps to move me around? If so isnt this the perfect way to catch spoofers and botters? Theres unknown2 or 6 something on the API which people dont know about.

One way to test this theory is there an alternative mapping program? we rely too much on google whos the real culprit behind this. To be honest i would be surprised if they didnt have this feature already. They can catch everyone without any issues just by using google maps to dictate coordinates.

Let me know if my hunch is right.

i don't think so, it will be a very bad privacy violation.

According to their TOS i dont see anything that says we do not use google maps or any sort of tracking to track your location and movement.

For those who use google login, we basically give them the rights to see what we are upto. There was an article i read a month ago where niantic had full access to our google accounts.

Pokemon Go Has Access To Your Entire Google Account | Popular Science

Reason why I am mentioning this its because my main account wasnt banned on bluestacks but the moment i used my phone it got IP blocked so did the rest of my accounts.

Yes, other bots are using mapzen some scanners are using openstreetmap, No way to say for certain since those banned could be due to something else but I highly doubt this theory of yours to be right.
edit: ToS doesn't say something like we're allowed to gather your information and sell it. Think what the other comment was getting at was that it would be a privacy violation as in a violation of rights to disclose that information about you to a third party in this case being Niantic. Also that article was talking about when Pogo first came out it had far too many permissions. It's been greatly reduced for the last month now.

So far i have only used pokerfarmer and mygobot which both use google maps. I havent tried the others can you link me to them?

Also spoofers seem to get banned without the use of bots. This banhammer thing is pretty much gps related?. Or else how do you explain getting banned on nox and blue stacks is it device ID?

Just some thoughts, I wanted to share please be gentle with me.
