as the tittle says is it good to bot bgs now coz i just came back and i wanna gear up now.

Short response: No
Long response: Unattended PvP botting is the surest (quickest) way to get suspended/permanently banned. Of course it relies on your CC that you're using, or plugins that you have. The use of a different bot base, such as BGBot, can be helpful - though with the previous update of HB paths are now randomized for BGBuddy.

Certain CC's (such as TuanHA's CCs) have specific/custom PvP logic built into them which make your chicken (toon) seem more human-like.
Certain Plugins (such as Phelon's Ultimate PvP Suite) have custom logic on how to interact with players/movement to create enhanced/advanced PvP knowledge.

In the end? PvP is still extremely risky to unattended bot.
I'd suggest using a CC with the Tyrael bot base.

I've been BG botting one of my accounts for like 16 hours a day for past week or so and it hasn't been banned.

Unattended botting, specifically in PvP, leaves a higher chance/risk of a player reporting you for running into objects, trying to fight the whole of the other team, doing stupid things, etc. The risk you take is yours and it is your account; is it unsafe? I suppose we'll see.

Dont bot battlegrounds, you will get reported. The bot is a downie when it comes to battlegrounds.
