Ghom is good for seasons, But you are going to want to run a combo. If you do not intend on playing manually until you find most of what you need, Then I suggest doing this:
#1 | If starting from level 1, since seasons you can start off in adventure mode right away. Run bounties on T4 for exp/gold/legs even though LPH is low youll get 70 the quickest. You will be stacked with 200-300 rift frags by time your level 70.
#2 | Run the story/quest mode profile all the way to the either just before malthael or to the end doesn't matter.(or do it manually if you have the time though the bot is pretty quick itself)
#3 | Now the reason for doing campaign mode, You will not be able to access the quest for botting Ghom, as well as the quest for botting A5 chests(which is the last one pre kill malthael)
#4 | If you are a WD, then botting ghom is a cake walk at 70 with rare gear and the random legendary/set item on T1-T2 or higher depending, If you are not a WD then run the chest profile until you have a sufficient amount of gear to bot Ghom for gold/levels and legendaries though slightly lower LPH then chests.
#5 | Alternate between Ghom and Chest profiles since both offer different things. Ghom is good exp/gold. Chest runs on the other hand will give you the highest LPH rate AND drop gems. Starting off in seasons, For ghom runs I suggest turning trinity on to pickup all blue/rare items and enable bot to salvage. After 24-48 hours of doing this youll have 3000-4000 veiled crystals, and twice as many arcane dust for crafting/reroll purposes which is crucial. Use Kevin's Synergy profile for exping on Ghom if you want that extra boost(it helps in the long run). In 2 days of running Ghom I got 200 paragons, some decent gear etc using WD and tons of salvage mats. Feel free to bot rifts or run em manually whenever after that, though I found it best if you get atleast paragon 100+ first if not some good gear to help you progress faster in rifts. Running 3-4 to acquire specific gems to socket in isn't a bad idea either
