Is gathering best way to make gold while botting?

Hey everyone, I have been botting for years and when the gathering bot first came out it seemed to be very effective at making large amounts of gold, but now it seems like everyone uses them and my profits are lower now than they were in previous expansions.

I see people saying they are making 200k-300k or more per day with only 8-10 accounts. That seems MUCH more than what I am making with my gathering accounts. Am I doing something wrong?

Are people farming with honorbuddy instead of using the gatherbuddy now? I am trying to make as much gold profits as possible and I feel herbs and ore just aren't worth it.


I also hate leveling professions, so that would be a huge plus if I didn't need characters to have mining and herbing

Do you shuffle stuff? I promise you will profit more than selling raw.
Use AHBuddy and sell gems, enchants, flasks, potions, golden lotuses maybe.

There's shuffling profiles that could be used with professionbuddy so the work is done for you.

wouldn't I have to level a profession though such as inscription or something on an alt? I have maxed herb and mining on my characters right now

Yes, get enchantin/jc scribe/alch, I just did this on a new realm, it took me like 5 days to get a dk + paladin to 80 and those professions to 600. I did it manually and botted lvling 12 hrs per day. was no hurry since gatherers leveling aswell

I make roughly around 15-20k per account so with 10 accounts you should be able to do 200kish a day and this is just with gathering herbs/mines

wow thats pretty good, maybe Im just not farming enough nodes per hour

Well doing this over 10+ accounts sounds like much too much work, and then having to use those professions to profit more would just take too much of my time. I checked out profession buddy, but it looks like it isnt updated as frequently as honorbuddy. There is the risk of getting banned also which would just throw away all that hard work.

Hi Tmill,
The risk of a ban during the use of profession buddy isn't greater then any other botbase.
Think of a botbase like an extension or plugin of HB, the only risk you have is Honorbuddy it'self being detected.
