Everyone having this problem right now or just some people? Figured there'd be nonstop posts about it if it was 100% of people just because it adds 1-2 minutes to each run.

I was actually coming here to search for the same thing and found your post. Yes.

Seems like any tiny little area the bot forgets to explore, he will go back and just light it up even though nothing is there, and then continue on.

Hoping for a fix soon. I've used DB on and off for 3 years and this has to be the most annoying thing I've come across. Drastically slowing down run times... more so on Nephelem rifts cause the maps are usually more intricate and larger.

Came back after a long break (last botted 4-5 seasons ago). Bought a new subscription to started botting again. Don't remember the back-tracking algorithm being so weird previously, most of the time bot was able to remember areas that it has navigated before, and back tracking was quite minimal.

But yesterday, I witnessed a session where the bot was just few inches to the next level portal, yet decided to back track all the way to the entrance before moving back to use the next level portal

Have the same problem. To me the most annoying thing is when the bot explores a bit of the map(which leaves a certain part of it unexplored, naturally), finds some mobs in sight and starts fighting, and more mobs---more fighting, and so on for 5 minutes and it's way from that starting point, and well u know, the bot will go ALL THE WAY back to that tiny little black spot!

Can it be fixed that if the bot has such a compulsion to explore all the map, at least do that before going forward? It's not the full exploring that's annoying, it's the back and forth in vain!

Same issue for me, annoying but I guess it could be worse. :)

Would love a fix for this. Would probably double the bots efficiency for a lot of longer maps

I agree! It's quite annoying having TurboHud on seeing the best path to go and seeing the bot walk around all the edges all around the map...

DB AND TH? I see you like to live life dangerously.

At the moment, the path search works horribly. Sometimes a bot can simply walk for about 10 minutes on an empty map, instead of going through it for 3-4 minutes in full. Or in general can get lost.

I hope there will be a solution to the problem.

At me it occurs about every fifth portal

It's awful with all the backtracking. Pops a conduit in a gr, goes all the way back to the beginning of a cave map to explore one little alcove it could have check on the way by the first time.

Yep its really bad and it looks like the devs (If there are any at all that still work on DB) don't have a clue how to fix this.....

there's a possible answer that the devs make this happen on purpose to have the bot slow down.
I've been use DB since 4 years ago and this backtracking problem seems begin after they lose the lawsuit against blizzard.
So , the devs manually make db dumber to avoid pissing blz off.

Another answer is that they don't have enough money to improve DB because the lawsuit.
The termination of lifetime pass and raise of price may have proved my opinion

JUST MY GUESS
