Is cross faction mailing available?

I would like to know if it's possible to mail items and gold among players of different factions on the same server. I have a very limited playtime so I couldn't check it myself (I am a bit lazy too). It would be appreciated if someone can answer my query. Please only answer if you are 100% sure (or have tried yourself). Speculation or assumption is really not needed.
