Is craft worth or not?

I always sell all my items (that does not goes to my bank) to a vendor.

I have seen ppl saying that salvaged them is good to craft some bracers, gloves and ammys... is that really true?

Can anyone confirme is worth to instead sell items, transform them to mats and craft?
