Is bossland assuming they're kosher or actively working on security?

I only ask because complacency cost us all our accounts. I was just reading the most recent ban in the ban section and someone posted they believe hoboebuddy is still detected based on not even getting 15 levels done before being banned. He mentioned he got a ram access crash and was banned when he tried logging back in which led him to surmise It was a warden detection in his memory.

Regardless of merit the fast bannings make it obvious that it's still easily detectable in some capacity. I hope nobody is naive enough to base its safety off the quantity of bans at current including the Dev team. just like pre wave the number of bans weren't overwhelming then BAM. I can only assume they'll hoarde up thousands again and nail us.

I know bossland has some bright folk and would like to think they've considered all angles and possibilities but like everyone - not knowing much makes speculating rampant and everyone is right to be apprehensive after losing many years of time and (to be fair - varying) degrees of effort.

Either way - thoughts on his "crash" and potential relation to detection? Coincidence?

1. Botting cost you your account. But you know this.

2. Not everyone is being banned quickly. I, for one, am dirty botting, non-stop, Kick's Profiles, total AFK. No ban.

3. Even if Bossland or any of his developers had any idea what happened, or how to fix it, they'd be foolish to state that here. These forums are incredibly public and crawling with Blizzard spies.

I get crashes when using HB or R***t. It just happens sometimes. Havent been banned for using RB, so I doubt its the "access violation" crashes. Of course, I never send them anyway lol...

edit: for what it's worth, I also delete the .dmp and .txt files from the Errors folder every time I close out WoW (if there are any)... also, I deleted WoW64 too.

Well he could have been estimating the time. Including character creation, that's suspect if it was black and white sure. However he is still posting afterwards so I'm not convinced it was trolling. Perhaps misinformed sure.

I guess time will tell. The crashes gave some food for thought I hadn't heard or considered previously as I haven't played since ban and hadn't crashed prior to.

Monitoring and deleting those files may or may not be helpful. Afaik they can only read what is actively in memory. Reading files aleeady on the pc I think is out of bounds. Unless they hide some type of confirmation for upload.

Still - like I said previously, the end result is the same and I know this. It's just curious whether or not blizzard has gotten more brash or developed anything new at all. They could have just been saving bans for ages. Course the fact most bans came within a small time window makes that fairly unlikely.

What is also curious is that most current bans are EU. Were the majority of the ban wave ones US? The kicks being hit most often is logical considering all the new accounts so I can understand that arguement but to know those folks are botting to begin with is troublesome especially so fast.

Anyways, don't want to go in circles I'm just hoping bossland is aiming for something revolutionary because we certainly need it.

If you look closely at the top right of his screenshot you might just see he was still logged into wow playing
He is stood in Brightwood Grove which is a level 30 area, lol.
Also im not sure you can have the wow window behind the task bar so im guessing the task bar was pasted over?

As i wrote in another Thread i am leveling another Account with a bot that isn't HB and yes this Account is lvl 20 atm with no ban. You guys are really scared HB is losing popularity with all your paranoia.

Honorbuddy is not loosing popularity. Thousands are using HB right now as we speak. The ban wave has come and gone.
The only bans now are those that use HB stupidly (e.g. 15 hours) Everything is back to normal but still there are a number of trolls still trying to cause a mass panic with post after post and topic after topic about old news.

People need to just ignore these trolls and get on with using HB.

Well as i wrote in my ban post, i waited some time for the second release 789 to start botting again. But well i got banned pretty much immediately (new windows installation, new bnet acc, several months old key battle chest, new wow folder, no plugins, new hwid) after i left the starting zone and got to eastern kingdoms.
But if i am a troll for you because i got banned and i am one of the few ppl who report it on the forums to let the community know... sure call me troll. I use buddy products for 3 years i have 5 different Bossland bots and all work great, but HB is fucked. I use a different bot now to test with another account, i don't say which one i don't want to promote anything... just telling my current test results. I couldn't care less that you don't give a shit about the community, all i can say to the people here is i got banned pretty much immediately... so have fun.
And to all the paranoid buddys on here who call everyone who are reporting their situations, to help others with their decision on botting or to wait some more, go f*** yourselves.

Did bot a Warlock from 1-21 with kicks/cavas Profiles acouunt is still alive so forget your Tinfoil bull.

Btw i got only 2 Accounts banned in my whole WOW Botting Time 1 when Glider was detectet through a Windows Bug in 2007/2008 and hit as all hard and 2009 when Gatherbuddy was young and it was also detected throug a Lua Problem wich did hit aus all also hard.

Since then i bottet a lot of Chars and did alot PVP and never got even a Warning

My solution dont get greed and use the Brain.exe!

You can... just set the task bar to appear on the on the top of the screen instead of the botton, then set it not to disappear whilst not mouse hovering on it, and depending on resolution/position of the wow window you can have that...

I obviously don't mean anything with this, just saying that you can have that particular effect without photoshopping anything...

I haven't had any issues since the .789 release I'm working on my 2nd set(5 bots each set) of toons first set of lvl 90 druids completed yesterday. second set of toons dif class is at level 22 atm will most likely be finished in a day or so. Botting continuously is reckless but its $7 keys so idc really im running this more for a test then anything else.
