Is Blizzard caring bout conversations?

I want to ask you if Blizz cares bout conversations between Friends via whisper? I mean if somebody used the word bot or botting could this be dangerous for me? Does this happend to anyone of you?

- and now for the real response, No. It's a nice rumor to scare people with tho ;D quite funny to see people calling it a bawt or b000t :D
 
I was not scared if i get banned I will buy a new account :D but it is nice to know thanx for ur super fast response :p <3
 
I avoid the word bot or botting when chatting with my friends who bot and know I bot. Instead we use words like little brother or cousin. i.e. Damn my little brother farmed like 1 million gold last night, and a legendary.
 
I always wondered this myself, but then they made a raid called Bastion of Twilight. Which acronym is bot :) So I doubt it.

.. and several years before that, they made an instance called "Botanica" - which several people abbreviate as "bot".
 
Well I didn't take my tinfoil hat on when selling all those those gold. I even advertised myself in the game to the clients. And guess what!
I was banned!

On topic: No, they simply wont have time to scroll through billions of billions of textmessages.

Why would they have to scroll through it? It wouldn't be that difficult to have keywords activate recordings and bots to parse through logs to remove most of the trash input.
 
I still take the precaution, like when my buddie whispered me " bot bot bot bot bot bot" I was thinking da fuq?
Just don't want to give Blizzard any reason to monitor or notice you.
 
Blizzard DOES monitor chat. However I am not sure if they look for those keywords. They monitor it because of cyber-bullying laws.

No. This is all done by scripts. We never read chats unless it's about harassment.
