I was banned on my main account for botting 4 months ago and just recently I decided to take advantage of RAF to make a new one while I wait. It is my WoW3 on this account and I wonder if Blizz is still looking at my computer to see if I am running HB because I really do not want to fucking level this toon myself at this point. Let me know if you think it is extremely unsafe and to clarify I am using a new PC and IP address, I have no idea if that changes a damn thing.

Thanks in advance, Jharls

TLDR: I got banned for 6 months so now I am playing on a WoW3 and I don't know how likely it is that I'll get banned again.

Hello,

Easy answer? yes.
Because Blizzard monitor all player, all day long.
(But maybe not about bot usage, but they do)

Also, even if it's something said thousand of times... Don't bot on an account you don't want to loose.

2 levels on broken shore is about 2-3 hours.
So basically, you want to risk your main account for 2 hours of your life?
Your call.

Just keep in mind that every botted account will be banned.
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but they will.

Once you're fine with that, you can bot =)

There are people around - including me - botting almost 24/7 and haven't got banned (despite ordinary ban waves)

You can play manually on main acc, and bot on raf account. Accounts which you never attach bot, must be safe.

Any account you attach the bot to is flagged and will get banned in the next banwave.

If you want to keep the account, just don't attach the bot to it. You should be fine otherwise. Unlikely that Blizz is monitoring you.

I may need to put ym foot in my mouth but i bot alot, almost all day long and even at night with maybe 6 hours of down time. I dont get banned its my main account plus i dont get bothered, so honestly for me i do multiple things all the time i dont just do one thing constntly so maybe your just unlucky if you get banned.

WOW....Not true. There is no definitive on this as yet.

I have been botting on the same rig for the past year and a half and have lost some accounts and still have my current one even after that last ban wave in February. I was not playing wow during the detection period, still comes down to some luck, and that is the only reason I survived the febwave. If you are botting during the time that they, the people you signed the EULA with ;) , can detect the bot you are for sure going to get banned. Other than that I have found that as long as you are keeping your profile's up to date so you don't get stuck stuttering against the walls or a really obvious barrel in the middle of a field you should be fine. However, do not get attached to a botted account because it will suck when you loose it for 6+ months. I prefer to be reasonable with my botting by not running it straight for 12 hours, pausing the bot when I get up to do something, and being at the PC when its running so that just in case you do get stuck you can maybe play it cool if you are in the presence of people. . .

Can you please share your secrets to not being banned when running 24/7? ie.
1. do you use re-logging? if so how often?
2. Do you use Virtual machines for each account?
3. Do you use multiple computers?
4. Do you conceal your IP address with a VPN / Proxies? which?
5. Do you make any regular modification to your registry?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

They don't really care that much about you. They monitor all players and your account may have some sort of flag that will make reports more meaningful. But you are not being actively watched lol

I am not a mass botter (mainly for developing purposes) so you may need to ask someone else :)
